Domain Email | Setting up passwords

If you have a custom domain name, you probably have custom email for the domain name.

In an effort to increase the security on your account, our email provider has implemented new rules for the password.

The new password requirements are as follows:

  • At least eight characters and less than 20 characters
  • Contain at least one number
  • Contain at least one special character from: !@#$%^&*()~`-=_+[]\\{}|:\";\',./<>?
  • Contain at least one upper-case and lower-case letter
  • Cannot match the account login name or email address

If the password does not meet these requirements you will receive an error message like this:

Simply follow these new requirements and you should have no problem creating a new email account or changing the password in the future.
